STUDY MUSIC WITH RENZO

Renzo offers private classes in guitar performance (all styles), songwriting, music theory, and music production. Lessons take place in a state-of-the-art music production studio in Oakland Ca (by Laney College in the Merritt Area, or in Santa Cruz California (on the West Side by Santa Cruz High). Most required materials will be provided: sheet music, recordings and jam tracks such as those found on Renzo's YouTube channel "Now YOU Shred". Lessons can be very structured or as relaxed as the student prefers. Subjects of study may include rock, blues, funk, jazz, folk, classical and Latin American guitar styles, Cuban tres guitar, as well as music production using Ableton Live. Guitars and amplifiers are available for use during all sessions.

Prices

  • Weekly in-studio private classes are $90 an hour, paid monthly in advance (4-5 classes per month)

  • House calls in Santa Cruz, San Francisco or Oakland are available on a per-lesson basis: $150 per hour.

Block rates are also available for busy professionals. Classes may be scheduled in advance on a regular OR per lesson basis (all classes not used within the 6 month period are forfeited)

  • 25 classes in a 6 month period: $2000

  • 12 classes in a 6 month period: $1000
